Flow yoga - all levels

Alignment based Vinyasa (flow) yoga links breath with movement. This class is open to all levels who are looking for a slightly more vigorous class in a non-competitive environment, grounded in mindfulness practices of meditation and compassion.  Click here to register.

 

Restore, Renew & Meditate

This once a month class is designed to restore and reset our bodies and minds to their natural unstressed state. Restorative yoga and mindfulness meditation will be explored as an antidote to stress.  In this class less is more. Blocks, blankets, and bolsters are used to position the body into deeply relaxing poses that help to renew and invigorate the body and mind. By doing less we can help to release ourselves from chronic stress. - (No prior yoga or meditation experience necessary.) Click here to register.


Gentle yoga

Gentle yoga classes are appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported and relaxing practice and provide a safe, effective, compassionate, non-competitive environment that is welcoming to all. (Appropriate as well for women who are pregnant! Modifications will be offered.)

 

Kids yoga + mindfulness

This class uses yoga and mindfulness exercises (including yoga poses, relaxation techniques and breathing exercises) to reinforce healthy mind-states, and to build confidence and compassion in our children.  Children will be engaged through the use of props, games, music, and partner poses. With children we can reinforce healthy mind states right from the get go and introduce tools to access them before too many destructive patterns develop.

Tween/Teen yoga and meditation

A yoga class geared toward tweens and teens that builds the groundwork to live a healthy lifestyle in a safe and non-competitive space. Yoga is a self-empowering practice and builds confidence. It is a perfect compliment to teens busy academic and extracurricular schedule, connecting them with others and themselves in a fun and nurturing environment, and leaving them refreshed and ready for the outside world.

Meditation

This class is open to the beginner as well as the experienced meditator. Learn to reconnect to your mind, heart, and community through mindfulness meditation techniques.  Meditation helps you gain clarity, develop concentration, and become more compassionate to yourself and others.

Private yoga or meditation classes are tailored to your needs including therapeudic sessions.

*Please wear clothes in which you are comfortable and free to move, no shoes.  Our studio provides Mats, blankets, blocks, bolsters, straps, and meditation cushions.
